Everyone’s done it – deleted a Facebook message they meant to keep (occasionally the trigger-happy clicker finger can cause serious remorse.) Adios, sayonara, people believe they’ll never see their messages again.
But that is false. That’s right, a time machine is’t necessary to retrieve deleted messages. Facebook knows they’ve created an easy means for anyone using an account see everything they’ve done on their account and to return and the accidental deletion of messages can happen.
You’ll be brought to a page where you can download everything you’ve done since the arrival of your accounts on your Facebook account after you click the “Download a copy…” link. Click on the green button that says “Begin My Archive.”

After you click the green button, the little dialog box “Request My Download,” will open, informing you it can take awhile (typically 2-3 hours) to assemble all your advice. Click “Start My Archive” again to start the gathering procedure.

And that, you’ll be told to head to the e-mail account associated with your Facebook profile where a download link to your own archive will be sent. Click on the link in the e-mail to download your archive file, once it does.

And before the archive can be downloaded by you, you'll need to reenter your password.

Eventually, click on “Download Archive” button that appears after entering your password. Your archive will download to your computer.
The file including your data that is archived will open and click on “Messages” and all of your past messages will load.

To easily find for, search by key word. Press “CTRL F” or “F3 ” to get the keyword search procedure, and that’s it. After you find the message, copy and paste the contents into a Word document to save.

Recover deleted Facebook messages from a downloaded archive
In order to receive messages that are deleted you ’ll first need to log-in to the Facebook account you want to recover messages from.- logging-into-facebook
